If your home office is cold, your productivity will suffer. It’s harder to think in cold temperatures, especially when your hands are cold and you need to type.

Performance decreased in an exceptionally warm environment as well. The ideal temperature that supports productivity is somewhere around 72-77 degrees Fahrenheit, give or take for individual preferences.
Having an electric heater in your home office makes it easy to regulate the room’s temperature without having to mess with your thermostat. Sometimes a thermostat can make a room too hot too fast. With an electric heater, you can put it on the lowest setting if you just need to take the chill out of the air. Or, you can get one that allows you to adjust the temperature to a specific temperature.
4. You can use an electric fireplace for a quick meditation
Sometimes you just need a quick ten-minute break before hammering out more work. When you have an electric fireplace mounted on your office wall, you can turn your chair to face the fireplace and use it as a meditation tool.
Gaze into the dancing lights of the flames for a few minutes and just zone out. Give yourself a relaxing break without having to leave your office.
